
Dr. Bernardine M. King received her medical degree from the University of the Philippines. She completed a residency training program in Internal Medicine-Cardiology in the Philippines and served as a clinical assistant professor before coming to the United States to pursue further studies. She completed a Cardiology fellowship training program at the University of South Florida in Tampa and residency training at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. During her years in training, she co-authored several papers on echocardiography and received awards for outstanding leadership. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. Since 2002, she has given several lectures in the community regarding the importance of increasing awareness of heart disease in women. Dr. King practices and has expertise in all facets of Cardiovascular Disease. She lives in Gainesville with her husband and son.
